Nungki Andriani Astuti has been officially crowned Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) 2026, earning the honor of representing her province at the Puteri Indonesia 2026 national pageant in Jakarta. The coronation took place during the Grand Final held in December 2025 in Mataram, where Nungki impressed the judges and audience alike, standing out among 12 finalists from across West Nusa Tenggara.

The competition evaluated contestants not only on physical beauty but also on intelligence, cultural awareness, leadership potential, and social advocacy, reflecting the pageant’s emphasis on “Beauty with Purpose.”

Currently a fifth-semester law student, Nungki captivated the panel with her articulate vision, poise, and commitment to being a strong advocate for women and youth in NTB. Her victory demonstrates that true beauty goes beyond appearance, highlighting character, integrity, and social responsibility. During the coronation night, community leaders stressed the importance of nurturing young women who can actively contribute to cultural preservation, education, and community empowerment, reinforcing the role of pageant winners as role models.

Project Lestari Laut Brings Education Closer to Orang Asli Children in Coastal Malaysia

Miss World Malaysia Taanusiya Chetty has launched Project Lestari Laut (Learning by the Waves), an education initiative aimed at improving access to learning for indigenous Orang Asli children living in remote coastal communities across Malaysia. The project was introduced through a site visit to Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Dua on Pulau Ketam, a small island settlement accessible only by water. Leading the initiative, Taanusiya and her team traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang before continuing by ferry and small boats to reach the village. Hal tersebut disampaikan Andre dalam tayangan di kanal Taulany TV. Andre mengaku terkejut saat anaknya secara langsung memintanya untuk mencari pasangan baru.
