Trump Warns Iran of Incoming U.S. Armada, Urges Nuclear Deal to Avoid Military Action

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday issued a stark warning to Iran, saying a powerful U.S. naval “armada” was heading toward the country and urging Tehran to strike a deal with Washington over its disputed nuclear program or face the risk of a large-scale military attack.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the deployment included a “massive armada” led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, describing the fleet as moving “with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose.” He added that the force was larger than the U.S. naval presence previously sent toward Venezuela, signaling what he portrayed as a heightened show of military strength.

The comments come amid renewed tensions between the United States and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear activities and broader regional security concerns. Trump’s warning underscores a strategy of public pressure and military posturing aimed at pushing Iran back to the negotiating table, while raising fears of escalation if diplomatic efforts fail.
