Alina Akselrad Crowned Miss World Argentina 2025, Champions Social Advocacy and Empowerment

Alina Akselrad has officially been crowned Miss World Argentina 2025. The 27-year-old from Córdoba will represent Argentina at the 73rd Miss World Festival, set to take place later this year.

An actress, communicator, and author of the book Abraza tu Poder (Embrace Your Power), Alina is widely known for using her platform to promote social responsibility, education, and a culture of peace. Her work is deeply rooted in advocacy and empowerment, with a strong focus on creating meaningful change within communities.

Alina holds a certification in Children’s Rights from Harvard University, which strengthened the academic and ethical foundation of her social initiative, Abraza tu Poder. Through this platform, she leads four key community projects: Sanando el Mundo (Healing the World), aimed at preventing violence against children; Líderes de la Vida (Leaders of Life), which recognizes resilient children facing serious health challenges; Tacos y Palabras al Poder, focused on empowering women in vulnerable and confined environments; and Asistencia a Merenderos Infantiles, supporting children in situations of social and economic vulnerability.

Fluent in English and having completed advanced studies at Fordham University in New York, Alina is passionate about writing, dance, and cultural exchange. She draws inspiration from everyday moments, nature, and meaningful human connections.

The crowning moment was especially emotional for Alina, as she was able to share it with her grandmother. “I am happy because I was able to share this joy with my grandmother. Seeing the crown was enough for us to melt into a hug full of laughter and pride,” she shared.

Alina Akselrad succeeds Guadalupe Alomar, who achieved Argentina’s highest Miss World placement in 38 years after reaching the Top 20 and Top 5 in the Americas & Caribbean region.
