Miss World El Salvador Adriana Rivas Champions Mental Health Across the Country

Since being crowned Miss World El Salvador, Adriana Rivas has been actively promoting mental health awareness through her Beauty With a Purpose project, “Mente en Voz Alta” (Mind Out Loud).

Traveling across all 14 departments of El Salvador, she visits schools and communities to lead workshops on emotional well-being, particularly focusing on vulnerable youth. By sharing her own experience living with bipolar disorder, Adriana encourages young people to speak openly about their emotions, seek help, and understand that vulnerability is a form of strength.

With support from local educators and institutions, her initiative aims to create safe spaces where mental health is discussed with dignity and every voice is heard. Through this project, Adriana exemplifies the Miss World mission of using the platform to drive meaningful social change.

Project Lestari Laut Brings Education Closer to Orang Asli Children in Coastal Malaysia

Miss World Malaysia Taanusiya Chetty has launched Project Lestari Laut (Learning by the Waves), an education initiative aimed at improving access to learning for indigenous Orang Asli children living in remote coastal communities across Malaysia. The project was introduced through a site visit to Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Dua on Pulau Ketam, a small island settlement accessible only by water. Leading the initiative, Taanusiya and her team traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang before continuing by ferry and small boats to reach the village. The community is home to 22 families and around 35 children, many of whom live in modest stilt houses built over the sea. Limited infrastructure, sanitation challenges, and environmental neglect have made daily life difficult. Baru lebih dari satu bulan resmi bercerai, komedian sekaligus aktor Andre Taulany mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya justru mendapat dorongan dari sang anak untuk segera menikah kembali. Hal tersebut disampaikan Andre dalam tayangan di kanal Taulany TV. Andre mengaku terkejut saat anaknya secara langsung memintanya untuk mencari pasangan baru. Menurutnya, permintaan itu bukan tanpa alasan, melainkan sebagai bentuk perhatian terhadap kesejahteraannya. “Malah gue disuruh kawin lagi sama anak gue. ‘Biar papa ada yang ngurusin,’ katanya,” ujar Andre menirukan ucapan sang anak.
