Asia Rose Simpson of Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 at the grand coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena, emerging on top of 24 contestants from across the country and overseas Filipino communities.
The 18-year-old beauty, who also won Beauty with a Purpose, succeeds Krishnah Gravidez, with the title handed over in a special moment joined by reigning Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri, reinforcing the pageant’s humanitarian mission.
Asia Rose stood out throughout the competition, winning Talent and Beauty with a Purpose fast-track events. During the Q&A, she delivered a thoughtful answer on social media’s impact on youth mental health, highlighting her SED (Sports, Emotional, and Dance) advocacy.
Coming from a modest background, she prepared independently, wearing gowns made by her mother—an inspiring detail that resonated with audiences.
Anne De Mesa (Manila) was named First Princess, while Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia (Pampanga) claimed Second Princess.
Asia Rose now prepares to represent the Philippines at the Miss World Festival, aiming to secure the country’s second Miss World crown after Megan Young’s 2013 victory.
